SPACES THAT INSPIRE
This assignment instructed us to design a shared environment for a real-world client that fosters creativity, collaboration, and effective interaction/ Our group combined functionality and aesthetics to create an outdoor space we think our fashion majors can benefit from. Located in their building, Eckburg Hall, we designed a space that is catered to their needs during the long hours they spend in the building
PROCESS
To begin our process, we drew inspiration from Eckburg Hall's interior and other SCAD buildings with a creative, inviting work environment. Once we discussed what we think the students could benefit from most, we created a mood board for our concept.

We then created sketches based on what we discussed to help visualize and add to each other's concepts. I added vending machines for supplies that fashion majors always need, along with a vending machine for meals. I also took inspiration from Deloitte and their interior design choices when playing with proportion.
