PROJECT 3: HONEY NUT CHERRIOS COLLABORATION
This project assigned us to a cereal company to create a special-edition Hot Wheels product for kids. We were asked to examine their brand language and target market to help advance sales and brand loyalty.
When viewing our chosen cars side by side, I noticed they all came from different timelines, so I thought about matching that with the brand's marketing. We researched their older marketing and matched this with the oldest car we had, and gave our newer-looking car a sleek and modern design. When doing research on the brand's history, we noticed their first colors were royal blue and butter yellow with stars, so we implemented these details in our designs. Since the brand was established in 1941, we also added this as a sports car number.
After using a variety of materials (stickers, paint, clay, etc.), our final products were ready to be sent on the runway.
